Large Construction & Property company is looking to recruit an IT Audit Manager to be based in their Dubai offices. This is an immediate role within a growing audit department, reporting to the Chief of Internal Audit.
This role will be the first IT Audit specialist within the team to coincide with the development of the company IT department. You will be looking at IT controls for both infrastructure and software, both for existing and newly implemented IT initiatives. The role will be largely operational working as the IT Audit specialist within the greater Audit team, although you will be creating strategic direction and recommendations to the Chief of Audit with growth plans in mind.
The ideal candidate will have a Project Management Professional (PMP) and relevant computer audit qualification (e.g. CISA). You must have a core IT background and be familiar with not just auditing of IT applications, but also networking and databases. Exposure to Oracle, ACL & Teammate are a great advantage. Experience setting up and IT Audit function will be favourable but not essential. Experience within the construction & property industry would be an advantage, however any industry including the financial services will be considered. All nationalities are welcome to apply to this culturally mixed team, although you must have experience from the Middle East or Western environments. Arabic speakers will be given preference.
